General Guidelines
- Handle with extra care due to shorter, more delicate fibers
- Always check the garment's care label first
- Store folded, not hung, to maintain shape
Washing Instructions
Hand Washing (Recommended)
1. Use cold water (30°C/86°F maximum)
2. Choose a gentle, wool-specific detergent
3. Soak for 10-15 minutes, avoid agitation
4. Gently squeeze, don't wring or twist
5. Rinse thoroughly in cold water
Dry Cleaning
- Acceptable alternative to hand washing
- Inform cleaner that garment is recycled wool-cashmere
Machine Washing (If necessary)
- Use wool/delicates cycle only- Cold water setting
- Place in mesh laundry bag
- Use wool-specific detergent
- Avoid regular laundry detergents
Drying
1. Never use tumble dryer
2. Lay flat to dry on clean towel
3. Reshape while damp
4. Keep away from direct heat/sunlight
5. Allow 24-48 hours for complete drying
Pilling Management
- Some pilling is normal, especially initially
- Remove pills gently with:
- Cashmere comb
- Pill remover tool
- Avoid over-brushing
Storage
- Clean before storing long-term
- Use breathable garment bag
- Add cedar blocks to deter moths
- Keep in cool, dry place
- Never store in plastic
Refreshing Between Washes
- Air out after wearing
